    Devil's Pass Trailhead, Seward Hwy, Moose Pass, AK 99631, USA
    Volunteers will be re-treading portions of the Devil's Pass trail, clearing and reforming drainages, and removing some roots and rocks from more eroded sections of trail. Volunteers should have the ability to hike up to two miles and use basic hand tools.

    Volunteers will meet at Prospect Heights trailhead. Volunteers will hike in on Wolverine Trail to the Middle Fork junction. Work will include brushing and scraping organics out of the trail. Hiking will be moderate and around 4 miles is expected for the day.

    Volunteers will enhance the accessibility, safety, and overall quality of Curry Ridge trail by brushing, clearing, and maintaining its path. This is a two-day event with camping at the K'esugi Ken campground. Hiking will be easy to moderate each day.

    Volunteers will be building new trail. This will involve brushing and grubbing out the corridor and constructing new tread. Some step and run boardwalk may be installed as well. Hiking will be moderate and around 2 miles. Volunteers will meet at the Whittier Public Safety Building. BBQ to follow!

    The goal of this project is to improve Portage Pass Trail with tread, drainage, and brushing work. No experience is necessary, but volunteers should have a minimum ability to hike about 4 miles with elevation gain and work for about 7 hours during potentially inclement conditions.

    Gold Mint Trailhead, Fishhook-Willow Rd, Palmer, AK 99645, USA
    Volunteers will repair wooden pedestrian walkways on Gold Mint trail in Hatcher Pass State Park. They span over traditionally wet, muddy areas on the trail and the boards are rotting away. Hiking will be easy and no more than 3 miles.
  • National Public Lands Day - Middle Fork Trail

    Glen Alps Lower Lot, Parking lot, Blueberry Loop Trail, Anchorage, AK 99516, USA
    Volunteers will hike down Powerline to the Middle Fork junction. There will be some structure repair and gravelling in a turnpike. Hiking will be easy to moderate and no more than 2-3 miles for the day.
