Volunteers will hike down Powerline to the Middle Fork junction, brushing between the junction and the bridge. There will be some structure repair and gravelling in a turnpike.

About the event

Volunteers will hike down Powerline to the Middle Fork junction, brushing between the junction and the bridge. They will also perform some structure repair on the Little O'Malley trail step & run and will gravel in the turnpike to bring it up to grade. Volunteers will meet at the Glen Alps lower parking lot.


What to bring: Rain gear, sturdy work/hiking boots, snacks, water, sunscreen, long work pants, and work gloves and safety glasses if you have them (if you don't have gloves/safety glasses they will be provided for the day). 


What NOT to bring: Alcohol, drugs, children, pets, and firearms.


Notes: Hiking will be easy to moderate and no more than 2-3 miles for the day. No experience is necessary, but volunteers should have a minimum ability to hike and work for 6 hours during potentially inclement conditions and on uneven terrain. This event is open to volunteers age…
