About the event
At this two day volunteer event, volunteers will be brushing and clearing out the Curry Ridge trail in Denali State Park. It is a popular trail, with easy switch backs. The brush mostly consists of grassy material, with intermittent patches of sapling alder/birch. Volunteers will work both Saturday and Sunday:
Saturday 9:00am – 3:00pm
Sunday 9:00am – 3:00pm
The group campsite at K'esugi Ken campground in Denali State Park has been reserved for our volunteers for the nights of 8/29 and 8/30. You will share this campsite with other volunteers. Everyone will be responsible for bringing their own camping gear.
Saturday volunteers will be gathering to leave the campsite at 9AM. We will hike to the trail from the campground. Sunday we will pack up our campsite before starting our work day again at 9AM.
