About the event
The volunteers will be pulling brush off the trail and disposing of it properly after Northern Trail Maintenance (NTM) has cut the vegetation down. They should have the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
What to bring: Rain gear, layers, sturdy work/hiking boots, snacks, water, sunscreen, long work pants, long sleeves, and work gloves and safety glasses if you have them (if you don't have gloves/safety glasses they will be provided for the day).
What NOT to bring: Alcohol, drugs, pets and firearms.
Notes: Volunteers must be 18 or older. Volunteers will hike anywhere from 1-6 miles roundtrip. This is a moderate hike and you may be required to carry tools. Volunteers must be physically fit enough to complete this hike and work a full day.
