Volunteers will meet at the Campbell Airstrip trailhead in Far North Bicentennial Park. Volunteers will be working on the Moose Ridge Trail, completing improvements such as brushing, signage, and tread repair.

About the event

Volunteers will meet at Campbell Airstrip Trailhead in Far North Bicentennial Park at 9:00am. Volunteers will perform trail work on the Moose Ridge Trail. Tasks could include brushing, installing signage, and tread work.


What to bring: Rain gear, sturdy work/hiking boots, snacks, water, sunscreen, long work pants, and work gloves and safety glasses if you have them (if you don't have gloves/safety glasses they will be provided for the day). 


What NOT to bring: Alcohol, drugs, children, pets, and firearms.


Notes: Hiking will be easy to moderate and will be no more than 2 miles. No experience is necessary, but volunteers should have a minimum ability to hike and work for about 6 hours during potentially inclement conditions. This event is open to volunteers age 12 and up. Volunteers under the age of 18 will need parental consent on an individual volunteer form.
