About the event
Volunteers will meet at the Campbell Airstrip Trailhead at 6:00pm and return to the trailhead at 9:00pm. Volunteers will be helping improve a section of trail that was renovated and re-routed last season within Far North Bicentennial Park. Plan on doing some digging, hauling some dirt, and refining a small section of a bench cut trail. Plan to also help rehabilitate a retired trail that has turned into a social trail that people are using instead of the re-route.
What to bring: Rain gear, sturdy work/hiking boots, snacks, water, sunscreen, long work pants, and work gloves and safety glasses if you have them (if you don't have gloves/safety glasses they will be provided for the day).
What NOT to bring: Alcohol, drugs, children, pets, and firearms.
Notes: Hiking will begin at the Campbell Airstrip Trailhead, and at the most will involve 2.5 miles of hiking on an easy grade. No experience…
