About the event

Volunteers will be brushing out trail corridor using hand saws and loppers. Volunteers will meet at the Prospect Heights Trailhead by the fee station as you enter the parking lot where the Gasline Trail starts at 8:45 am. Free non-alcoholic beverages from Athletic Brewing will be provided after the event. 

What to bring: Rain gear, sturdy work/hiking boots, snacks, water, sunscreen, long work pants, and work gloves and safety glasses if you have them (if you don't have gloves/safety glasses they will be provided for the day). 

What NOT to bring: Alcohol, drugs, children, pets, and firearms.

Notes: Volunteers will hike less than 1.5 miles to the worksite. This is an easy/moderate hike where you will be carrying tools as well. Volunteers must be physically fit enough to complete this hike and work for 4 hours.
