About the event

This project will consist of volunteers hiking from the Mt. Baldy Trailhead. Volunteers will brush back alders and vegetation. There are a couple of minor tread issues volunteers will address as well. Volunteers will meet at the Mt. Baldy Trailhead at 9:45 am. Please pay attention to the signs at the trailhead about where and how you can park your vehicles.

What to bring: Rain gear, sturdy work/hiking boots, snacks, water, sunscreen, bug spray, long work pants, and work gloves and safety glasses if you have them (if you don't have gloves/safety glasses they will be provided for the day).

What NOT to bring: Alcohol, drugs, children, pets, and firearms.

Notes: Volunteers should be able to hike in steep, uneven, and sometimes muddy terrain and have a good attitude. Volunteers will hike between 2-3 miles total. This is a moderate hike where you will be carrying tools as well.
