About the event

Volunteers will be helping finish the re-route of the Middle Fork Trail. This will involve clearing brush, removing overburden to get to mineral soil and then creating the trail itself. Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks for the trail construction and will be using hand tools to do the construction. Once work is complete for the day, we will head to Midnight Sun Brewing for a volunteer social with free beer.

HIKING INFO:

This is a long and strenuous hike. The project site is roughly equidistant from both the Glen Alps trailhead and Prospect Heights. Volunteers will need to hike in with their tools and, importantly, will make the same hard hike out at the end of the day.

9:00AM – 5:00PM

Meet at the Glen Alps trailhead– lower parking area by 8:45AM, review safety documents and project overview, gather tools for the project.
