The goal of this project is to hike 2-3 miles into Johnson Pass Trail North and work on cleaning and creating new and existing drainages. This will involve some digging and brushing.

About the event
Volunteers will meet at the Johnson Pass North Trailhead at 9:30am and return to the trailhead at 3:30pm. Volunteers will hike 2-3 miles into Johnson Pass North and will work cleaning and creating new and existing drainages. This will involve some digging and brushing. Hiking and work is rated easy to moderate.
What to bring: Rain gear, sturdy work/hiking boots, snacks, water, sunscreen, long work pants, and work gloves and safety glasses if you have them (if you don't have gloves/safety glasses they will be provided for the day).
What NOT to bring: Alcohol, drugs, children, pets, and firearms.
Notes: Hiking will begin at Johnson Pass North Trailhead, and at the most will involve up to 6 miles of hiking at an easy grade. No experience is necessary, but volunteers should have a minimum ability to hike and work for 6 hours during potentially inclement conditions. This event is open…
