Horsetail Falls Connector Trail - Take 2

Volunteers will be building new trail and maintaining existing trail. This will involve brushing and grubbing out the corridor and constructing new tread. Hiking will be moderate and around 2 miles. Volunteers will meet at the Whittier Public Safety Building. BBQ to follow!

About the event
Volunteers will be building new trail and maintaining existing trail. This will involve brushing and grubbing out the corridor and constructing new tread. There will be a lot of light and moderate rockwork to be done for construction of partial fill/bench trail and switchback structures. Horsetail Falls connector trail will connect the future city park site to the existing Horsetail Falls trail. Volunteers will meet at the Whittier Public Safety Building at 9 am. Be sure to catch the 8:30-8:45 am tunnel. Bring a change of clothes and stick around for a post work BBQ.
No experience needed. All tools and protective equipment will be provided. Children allowed, parent/guardian will need to manage them.
