Horsetail Falls Connector Trail
Volunteers will be brushing out trail corridor, constructing new tread, and reestablishing tread in Whittier. Horsetail Falls connector trail will connect the future city park site to the existing Horsetail Falls trail. Volunteers will meet at the Whittier Public Safety Building. BBQ to follow!

About the event
Volunteers will be brushing out trail corridor, constructing new tread, and reestablishing tread in Whittier. Horsetail Falls connector trail will connect the future city park site to the existing Horsetail Falls trail. Volunteers will meet at the Whittier Public Safety Building. Bring a change of clothes and stick around for a post work BBQ with raffle prizes from local businesses.
What to bring: Rain gear, sturdy work/hiking boots, snacks, water, sunscreen, long work pants, and work gloves and safety glasses if you have them (if you don't have gloves/safety glasses they will be provided for the day).
What NOT to bring: Alcohol, drugs, pets and firearms.
Notes: This event is open to volunteers of any age. Volunteers under 18 must have a Volunteer Agreement signed by an adult. Volunteers will hike less than 1 mile to the worksite. This is a moderate hike where you will be carrying tools as well. Volunteers must be physically fit enough to complete this hike and work a full day.
