Volunteers will be brushing along the trail corridor and clearing drains of mud and debris. There will also be some small sections of tread work to improve and maintain. Work will be strenuous with about 6 miles of hiking, but will reward you with beautiful views.

About the event
Volunteers will be doing brushwork along the trail corridor and clearing drains of mud and debris. There will also be some small sections of tread work to improve and maintain. No special skills needed, but volunteers should be able to hike uphill easily and use basic hand tools. Volunteers will meet at the Hope Point Trailhead.
HIKING INFO:
We will start at the base of Hope point for brushing and drain clearance and work our way up the trail. Hope Point is a hard trail with consistent elevation getting stepper towards the top. It is about 2.5 miles and 3,600ft of elevation gain.
WHAT IT TAKES:
Work will be strenuous at times and volunteers must come prepared with food and water for the day. Volunteers should be capable of hiking 6 miles with significant elevation gain. Volunteers MUST be prepared with appropriate attire (including sturdy footwear/ boots, work gloves, eye…
