About the event

The day will begin at the Upper Huffman trailhead. Volunteers will hike from the trailhead to the worksite and begin drainage work at the trail junction. For the minor brushing, volunteers will brush the trail corridor to the trail standard and drag the brush cut end away from the trail. Volunteers will meet back at the trailhead at the end of the day.

It is 1.35 miles from the parking lot to the end of the worksite. It is 0.6 miles from the parking lot to the beginning of the job site. The work begins at the junction of Silverfern, Hemlock Knob, and Gasline trails and continues along Hemlock Knob til the intersection with Powerline trail.

This event is sponsored by Chugach Park Fund.
