Celebrate Earth Day with Alaska Trails and Alaska State Parks! Volunteers will be picking up dog waste and trash from our trailheads and trails. Volunteers will meet at the Thunderbird Falls parking lot in Chugach State Park. All equipment provided! Come when you can between 4-7 pm.

About the event
Join Alaska Trails and Alaska State Parks to celebrate Earth Day and pick up dog waste and trash from the Thunderbird Falls trailhead and trail! Volunteers will meet at the Thunderbird Falls trailhead. Come any time between 4-7 pm. This event is open to volunteers age 12 and up. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What to bring: Rain gear, sturdy closed-toed shoes or boots, snacks, water, sunscreen, long pants, trash collection equipment, if you have your own.
What NOT to bring: Alcohol, drugs, and firearms.
