Donations and Foundation Giving
for the Alaska Long Trail

Alaska Trails is grateful for the support of these notable funders who provided critical operations funding for the development of the trail. Collectively, these organizations have contributed over $1 million towards the Alaska Long Trail's development since 2021.

The Rasmuson Foundation provides organizational and planning support to advance the AKLT as one of its Strategic Initiatives.

The Mat-Su Trails and Parks Foundation provides funds for planning and trail maintenance to advance and improve the AKLT in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.

Turnagain Training, an Alaska-based business that hosts the nationwide event Race Across Alaska Winter Challenge, has supported the Alaska Long Trail with proceeds from virtual races since 2021.

The Anchorage Park Foundation contributed funds for branding and wayfinding along the urban braid of the Moose Loop/Alaska Long Trail.

ConocoPhillips provided critical funding to update the Alaska Long Trail Workbook, the project's first key planning document. 

Alaska Trails is grateful to the many individual donors who have supported the Alaska Long Trail with donations totaling $44,440 since 2021.
