Volunteer Opportunities

Conservation Volunteers International Program is hosting a volunteer trail maintenance trip to Torres del Paine, Patagonia. (Obviously not an Alaska Trails related event, but worthy of mention!) For more information, visit the CVIP's website at http://www.conservationvip.org/projects/torres-del-paine or REI Adventures at http://www.rei.com/adventures/activity/volunteer_expeditions.html.

Looking for some way to contribute to the trail resources of Alaska? How about volunteering to work on a trail near you?

Here are some examples of trail volunteering opportunities around Alaska where you can put some sweat equity back into the activity you love. Please contact the listed organizer for more details.

If you have a volunteer opportunity (trail building or trail maintenance sessions, for example), and would like to list them here, please send a description of the event to office@alaska-trails.org.
