1. Call to Order – 9:15AM Chair Jack Campbell

Present are Jack Campbell, Pat Owens, John Haas(Karl Kassel), Ron Crenshaw, Jack
Mosby, Joe Westfall, Lindsay Winkler(Kevin Murphy)

3. Reading and Approval of May 21, 2004 Minutes – Jack Campbell

Jack M Moved, Pat Owens Seconded, Approved.

4. Reports from Board and Chairs:

a. President-James King – not present

b. Treasurer-Joe Westfall - Current is $5125.36. Expenses were for the banner
and address stamp.

c. Secretary-Jack Campbell – No report

d. Funding Committee-Bruce Friend – Not present

e. Education Committee-Joe Westfall - No Report

f. PR/Media Committee-Pat Owens – Brochure completed.

g. Volunteer Recruitment Committee-Jack Mosby – No report.

h. Program Committee-Karl Kassel – No Report.

5. New Business

a. Education Committee – Possible new chair volunteer, Lisa to contact Bob
Gorman

b. Bethel Education OHV/ATV Curriculum Project – Joe Westfall and Bob
Gorman – No current information.

c. Website Update – Jack Campbell and Joe Westfall Should be ready. Close old

web site.

d. IMBA Trail Care Crew Schools update and registration procedures -
Dan Chagnon for Kevin Keeler – everything on line. Good place to distribute
the brochures, etc.

e. Iditarod Summer Trail Work Project – Alison Rein/Bruce Friend – trail
brushing in the Turnigan Pass area. Jack M to talk to Bruce.

f. National Trails Day project reports from around the state. – Work done on
Bumpus Equestrian Trail, Work done on the Butte Trail,

g. BLM Study Review – Jack Campbell – send email on web address to Lisa.

h. Distribution of Brochure – Pat Owens – Initial distribution by board members
to local businesses, etc. distribution to other trail events, other organizations
involved in trails, send to local parks and rec, etc. Pat to send email addresses
of board to Ron Crenshaw to send out the website address of the Public Health
Agency. Board to reply to Pat's email on what areas they will cover. Pat to
send a copy by email to Bonnie Brewer to post on the web site.

i. Alaska Trails – Trails Day Have maybe a Summer and Winter Trail Day to
cover different interests. Put on agenda for next meeting.

6. Grapevine News Heard by the Board

a. Good – Crevasse-Moraine Trail – Utilities Easements for the new hospital might
disturb this trail. Indications are that organizations are cooperating to minimize.
The Borough Trail Guide has been completed and ready for distribution.

b. Bad

7. Next Meeting – July 13, 2004
